COLUMBIA (S.C.) Columbia (S.C.) As part of the investigation into the death by shooting of Terrell Sims A man was arrested with accessory in the wake of the incident of murder. Columbia Police Department officers were actively searching for Sims who had been missing since Christmas. They also arrested Taylor Wardlaw in connection with the death of his friend. According to the authorities, Eddie Brown (aged 30) is suspected as a contributing factor in the murder. Sims, 26, was last seen on Dec. 20 at Ervin Street in Columbia. His partner, Wardlaw, reported him missing on December. 22, according to police. A body was discovered near Monticello Road. Naida Rutherford, the Richland County coroner confirmed that it belonged to Sims. Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook confirms that Wardlaw has been charged with murder and possession of weapons during the course of a brutal crime.
